The "Ramp/Pulse" 12" is now available through Mississippi Records and Mimaroglu Music Sales. Soon it will arrive at Aquarius Records, Root Strata, and Bleep.com as well. You can always get it through us direct, here (see sidebar) or at theecstasyblog. We'll have the record at all of our upcoming shows for $12.

We've added some more shows and expect to add a few more before we play Root Strata's On Land Festival in San Francisco in the Fall. If you do shows in LA get in touch! We might want to come down and could probably hook-up a killer bill.

Thank you to everybody who came out to our whirlwind month of shows. Special thanks to Gina A, Jason P, Xiu Xiu, Nice Nice, Raf' and Honey, Pete S, and Ryan C! We're taking a break but we will be playing in May with our good friends Golden Retriever and Strategy! It will be all-ages and with new material.

Until that time, we'll be building new songs and equipment, so stay tuned. Also stay tuned for details on how to get the debut Operative 12" EP "Ramp b/w Pulse"! If you've really got a bee in your bonnet, email operativegroup@gmail.comand you'll be the first to know. For now 'scope it out on iTunes or Boomkat, buy FLAC whenever possible, if you're going to go digital.

We're also pleased to announce a show with Warp Records' Nice Nice at Linger&Quiet's excellent NIGHTCLUBBING night with DJ New Moon Poncho on Saturday March 6th.

An all-ages bill is being built right now, hopefully sometime in April.

Operative has been pretty busy lately. We're happy to announce we'll have a 12" vinyl single/digital download release available in early March. We worked on it with Paul Dickow of Strategy assisting with mixing and Adam Forkner doing some basic tracking. Watch here for more details! We may have copies at our February 26th show with Miracles Club, DJ BJ, DJ Copy, and E*rock, but that remains to be seen.

In other news, Scxtt is working on a collaborative blog with Honey Owens, Rafael Fauria, and Brian Foote, called The Ecstacy Blog. Look for lots of rare youtube techno/house action, occult talking heads, and 'sclusive mixes.

Jed is joining Jackie-O Motherfucker for a tour of Europe in February, which is very exciting as well.

New tracks in the making. Adaptable 3 or 4 person line-up coming at you! Lasers? Word puzzles? Time will tell.
